سیر تحول از علوم رشته ای تا علوم میان رشته ای و علوم یکپارچه

چکیده
از نظرارسطو و فلاسفۀ اسلامی و فلاسفۀ قرون وسطی همۀ علوم زیر چتر فلسفه قرار می گرفت و فلسفه عمدتاً به فلسفۀ نظری و فلسفۀ عملی تقسیم می شد ، که فلسفۀ نظری شامل متافیزیک ، ریاضیات و طبیعیات بود. قبل از تکون علم جدید، دانشمندان درپی آن بودند که تصویر یکسانی از کل جهان به‌دست آورند. تمام بخش‌های دانش، بایستی در یک چارچوب کل‌نگرانۀ فلسفی قرار می‌گرفت. پس از تکون علم جدید کم­کم فلسفه های تجربه­گرا ، که فقط به تجارب حسی توجه داشتند، نضج گرفت و این منجر به کنار گذاشتن فلسفه ، علی­الخصوص متافیزیک ، شد، و عالمان دیدگاه کل­نگر را کنار گذاشتند. در نیمۀ دوم قرن بیستم ، با ظهور چند مکتب در فلسفۀ علم و روشنگری درمورد فارغ نبودن علوم از متافیزیک و چند بعدی بودن بعض از مسائل علمی ، چند جریان زیر براه افتاد:
(1) عده ای از بزرگان علم ، قادر نبودن علم تجربی به پاسخگوئی به همۀ سؤالات انسانی را دلیل بر این دانسته­اند که علم باید در یک چهار چوب جامعتر ( یک متافیزیک) قرار گیرد.
(2) مطالعات میان­رشته­ای براه افتاده ، که به تاسیس گروههای پژوهشی میان رشته­ای و براه افتادن دوره های آموزشی میان رشته­ای منجر شده و باعث توجه به فلسفه در علوم گشته است .
(3) پوزیتیویستهای منطقی دنبال این بودند که همۀ علوم را به یک علم، مثلاً فیزیک ، برگردانند. اما این جریان در دهه های اخیر تضعیف گشته ، گرچه در خود فیزیک عده­ای دنبال " نظریۀ همه چیز" بوده­اند .
(4) بعضی از دانشمندان تاکید کرده­اند که تخصصها باید در پرتو یک دیدگاه کل­نگر دنبال شود ، ولذا حاکمیت یک جهان­بینی جامع­نگر را بر همۀ علوم توصیه کرده­اند.
به­طور خلاصه می­­توان گفت که در دهه­های اخیر در راستای کل­نگری توجه به فلسفه در علوم به نحو محسوسی درغرب بیشتر شده است.

Developments from Specialized Sciences to Multi-disciplinaries and Unified Science

چکیده English

From the view of Aristotle, Muslim philosophers and the Christian Philosophers of the middle ages, all sciences were under the umbrella of philosophy. But, after the development of modern science and the growth of empiricism, philosophy lost its glory and attention was given primarily to specialized sciences.
But during the second half of the twentieth century, the defects of empiricism became apparent and several trends emerged:
(1) Some scholars mentioned that science can’t answer all questions of human concern and there is a need for a more general framework.
(2) There was a movement towards interdisciplinary studies, and there was a revival of philosophy among scientists.
(3) Positivists spoke of unified science, i.e. all sciences could be reduced to a single science, e. g. Physics.
(4) Many distinguished scientists mentioned that different specialties should be pursued under a holistic view, so they recommended to look for a worldview that works as an umbrella for all sciences.
