چکیده

این مقاله به بررسی کارآمدی تئوری بازنمودگرایانه مایکل تای در پاسخ به یکی از مهم‏ترین اشکالات می‏‏پردازد: آزمون فکری زمین معکوس که نظریه تای در باب تجربه پدیداری را به چالش می‏کشد. او اما دو پاسخ در برابر این اشکال مطرح کرده که مقاله پیش رو، هر دو پاسخ را به تفصیل مورد بحث و بررسی قرار داده است.بنا به استدلالات نویسنده مقاله، پاسخ اوّلیه تای به آزمون زمین معکوس– با وجود توانمندی در برابر برخی اعتراضات و صرفنظر از برخی لازمه‏های عجیبی که دارد – اما با اشکالی مهم مواجه است که در نهایت، خود تای نیز آن را می‏پذیرد. همچنین پاسخ دوم و نهایی تای با یک مثال خلاف واقع در باب طیف معکوس (که نویسنده مقاله مطرح می‏‏کند)، به چالش کشیده و نقد می‏شود.در نهایت مقاله به این جمع‏بندی می‏رسد که تلاش مایکل تای برای نجات تئوری بازنمودگرایانه برون‏گرا در برابر اشکال زمین معکوس، نتیجه نداده و به نظر می‏رسد این نظریه همچنان باید در پی پاسخی برای رهایی از اشکال مذکور باشد.

چکیده [English]

The paper address one of the most important objections against representational theory of Michael Tye: The inverted
earth exam, which is a counterfactual example has proposed by Ned Block to challenge Tye ,s theory on phenomenal mental states.
Tye, in contrast, has illustrated two response which are the main topic of this paper. The first response – according to author ,s arguments – faces with a significant problem; regardless of some peculiar requisites of the theory. The second – final – response, also, can be hit by a counterexample about inverted spectrum proposed by the author.
He, finally, concludes that Tye ,s attempts to rescue wide representational theory from the hardship was not successful, and it seems that the above theory should try to find some paths to solve the problem
