The Journal of Philosophy of Science, commemorating the passing of a number of prominent philosophers of science in 2025—including John Searle (philosophy of mind and philosophy of science), Michael Friedman (philosophy of science and philosophy of physics), Nicholas Maxwell (philosophy of science), Sandra G. Harding (feminist philosophy of science), Margaret Boden (cognitive science, philosophy of psychology, and philosophy of artificial intelligence), and Paul Benacerraf (philosophy of mathematics)—invites scholars to submit articles on the intellectual legacy of these figures (in the form of opinion, review, promotional, and research articles). These articles will be given priority for publication.
